These cities have larger hospitals and more advanced medical facilities than those in Las Terrenas. Additionally, many of the medical specialists in Las Terrenas are affiliated with larger hospitals in the larger cities, so they can refer patients to those hospitals for more specialized care," wrote a member who made the move to Las Terrenas, the Dominican Republic.
