"Medical care in Placencia is generally good. There are several local medical facilities, including a hospital, a clinic, and a pharmacy. The hospital is well-equipped and staffed with experienced medical professionals. The clinic offers basic medical services, such as check-ups and vaccinations. The pharmacy provides a wide range of medications and other medical supplies. In addition, there are several private medical practices in the area that offer specialized care," said another expat in Placencia, Belize.
"Hospital are in Dangriga, Belmopan and Belize City. There are 4 Private Hospitals that offer excellent services. In Placencia there are 2 doctors - Public and Private. There are 2 different Ambulance Services in the area and both offer excellent service. Quality of care in the Private Hospitals is very good.
