When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Jamaica, they reponded...

"Foreigners in Jamaica often work in a variety of sectors, ranging from hospitality and tourism to teaching and agricultural work. Professional expats can find positions in both the private and government sector, while English teachers and au pairs are also a popular job choice for those visiting the country. Additionally, foreign students and researchers often work in local universities and research institutions. Service industry jobs, such as waiting and housekeeping, are also available in Jamaica to foreigners," said a member in Jamaica.

"There are a number of businesses. I don't think any particular industry dominate. The community is located not far from a number of major factories such as, breweries, paint factories, cable companies, shopping centres, as well as local amenities - banks, supermarkets, etc," remarked another expat who made the move to Spanish Town, Jamaica.
