"Before moving to Lebanon, expats should be aware of the current political and security situation in the country. It is important to research the local laws and customs, and to familiarize oneself with the language, as English is not widely spoken. Expats should also be aware of the cost of living in Lebanon, as it is generally higher than in other countries in the region. Additionally, expats should be aware of the cultural differences between Lebanon and their home country, and be prepared to adjust to a new way of life. Finally, expats should make sure to obtain the necessary visas and permits before moving to Lebanon," explained one expat living in Lebanon.
