"Life for a retiree in Laos and its surroundings can be quite enjoyable. There is an active expat community in Laos, with many retirees from all over the world living in the country. There are plenty of cultural attractions to explore, such as the ancient temples and monuments, as well as the vibrant markets and street food. For recreation, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as trekking, kayaking, and cycling. There is also a vibrant nightlife scene in Laos, with plenty of bars, clubs, and restaurants to explore," said one retiree in Laos.
