When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Sacramento, they said:

"Sacramento is a vibrant city with a diverse population and plenty of activities to enjoy. The cost of living is relatively low compared to other cities in California, making it an attractive option for expats. The climate is generally mild, with hot summers and cool winters. Public transportation is available, but owning a car is recommended for getting around the city. The city is home to a variety of cultural attractions, including museums, galleries, and performing arts venues. There are also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. Expats should be aware that the city is prone to wildfires in the summer months, so it is important to stay informed and take precautions," said one expat in Sacramento.
