Summary: Expats move to San Rafael, Argentina for its stunning natural beauty, its vibrant culture, and its friendly people. The city is located in the heart of the country's wine-producing region, making it a great place to explore the local wineries and sample some of the country's best wines. San Rafael also offers a variety of outdoor activities, from hiking and biking to rafting and kayaking. Additionally, the city is home to a number of excellent restaurants, bars, and cafes, making it a great place to socialize and meet new people.

What do I need to know before moving to San Rafael?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to San Rafael, they said:

"San Rafael is a city in the Mendoza Province of Argentina. Expats should be aware that the city is located in a semi-arid climate, with hot summers and cold winters. Expats should also be aware that the city is located in a seismically active area, and earthquakes are a possibility. San Rafael is a relatively small city, so expats should be prepared to adjust to a slower pace of life. The city is known for its wine production, so expats should take advantage of the local wineries and vineyards. Additionally, expats should be aware that the city is located in a rural area, so access to amenities and services may be limited," said one expat in San Rafael.
