Additionally, expats should be aware that the city is home to a large number of religious sites, including the Bahá'í World Centre, which is a major pilgrimage destination for Bahá'ís from around the world. Finally, expats should be aware that Haifa is a safe city, with a low crime rate," replied a member in Haifa.
