Groceries in Larnaca are priced fairly, with local markets offering fresh produce at lower costs. Eating out at an inexpensive restaurant is also quite affordable, while a three-course meal for two people at a mid-range restaurant can be a bit more expensive. Public transportation in Larnaca is relatively cheap, with a monthly pass costing less than a daily cup of coffee. However, owning a car can be quite expensive due to high petrol costs. Healthcare in Larnaca is of good quality and is reasonably priced. Private health insurance is recommended for expats.
