Eating out at an inexpensive restaurant is also quite affordable, while a three-course meal for two people at a mid-range restaurant can be a bit more expensive. Public transportation in Patras is also quite affordable, with monthly passes available at a reasonable price. Gasoline prices are a bit high, similar to the rest of Europe. Healthcare in Patras is generally affordable, especially if you are covered by public health insurance. Private healthcare can be more expensive. Overall, the cost of living in Patras is lower than in many other cities in Greece, such as Athens or Thessaloniki, making it an attractive place for both locals and expats," said a member in Patras, Greece.
