"As a foreigner living in Bishkek, you will have access to public healthcare, but the quality and availability of services may not be up to the standards you are used to in your home country. Public healthcare facilities in Bishkek are often understaffed, and medical professionals may not speak English fluently. Additionally, the equipment and infrastructure in public hospitals may be outdated, and there may be a lack of essential medications. It is recommended that foreigners living in Bishkek consider obtaining private health insurance and seeking treatment at private clinics, which generally offer better quality care and English-speaking staff," wrote a member who made the move to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
