Expats, retirees and digital nomads can also join local clubs and organizations, such as the San Miguel Writers' Conference, the San Miguel International Club, and the San Miguel Expat Club. Additionally, there are many restaurants, bars, and cafes where people can meet up and socialize," said another expat in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
