What are healthcare services like in Hungary?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Hungary. They wrote...
"Healthcare services in Hungary are provided by both public and private institutions. The public healthcare system is funded by the government and provides free or low-cost services to citizens. Private healthcare services are also available, and are often more comprehensive than public services. In Hungary, healthcare is provided by a network of hospitals, clinics, and health centers. These facilities offer a range of services, including primary care, specialist care, and emergency services. In addition, Hungary has a number of specialized medical centers, such as cancer centers and rehabilitation centers. The quality of healthcare in Hungary is generally good, and the country has a well-developed system of medical research and education," explained one expat living in Hungary.
