"Australia has a relatively low crime rate, with the latest crime data showing decreases in many types of crime. While some regions of the country may experience more crime than others, overall, Australia has relatively low numbers, making it one of the safest countries in the world. However, certain crimes, such as cybercrime and domestic violence, continue to be persistent problems in the nation. Additionally, Australia is no stranger to terrorist attacks, and law enforcement remains vigilant in their efforts to combat terrorism in the region," remarked another expat who made the move to Australia.
