When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Philippines, they reponded...

"Foreigners often have professional jobs in the Philippines such as teaching English, working in the IT industry, or in healthcare. Other popular jobs for foreigners include working in business management, website design, and customer service roles. Additionally, some foreigners take positions as tour guides or adventure instructors, or find more specialized employment in engineering and other technical fields," remarked another expat in Philippines.

"Everything is available, it is a thriving economy. But local wages are low, so don't expect to make US wages unless you're transferred here as an ex-pat on a US salary plan. Most people find jobs by word of mouth. In this place it is not so much what you know, but WHO you know that helps," said a member in Manila, Philippines.
