If you are thinking about moving to Turkey, cost of living in probably a key consideration. Expats commented about the cost of housing...

"Do your research. Inflation over 70% so real estate is the only place to put your money. Russian/Ukraine situation has 100,000 new emigres all buying. Both conditions make real estate at the higher prices compared to anyplace in the world," explained one expat living in Turkey.

"Housing costs in Istanbul are expensive compared to the UK - even compared to London. The average cost of, for example, a 3 bed apartment on a compound would probably be approx. US$ 3,000 per month. Villas on similar compounds can be rented for anything between US$ 4,500 - 10,000 per month," said another expat in Istanbul, Turkey.
