If you are thinking about moving to Fiji, cost of living in probably a key consideration. Expats commented about the cost of housing...
"The cost of housing in Fiji varies depending on the location and type of accommodation. Generally, the cost of renting a house or apartment in Fiji is relatively affordable compared to other countries in the region. Prices for a one-bedroom apartment in a city center can range from around $400 to $800 per month, while a three-bedroom house in a suburban area can cost between $600 and $1,200 per month," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Fiji.
"Costs were lower. Our rent was good, markets provided our fruit and vegies. The real cost was buying red meat and getting good quality meat. Got to know our butcher who informed me Thursday was good meat day ! Laws dont allow us to buy housing in Fiji," commented one expat who made the move to Sigatoka Valley, Fiji.
