Expats should also be aware that the country has a harsh climate, with cold winters and hot summers, so they should be prepared for the weather. Additionally, expats should be aware that the country has a high crime rate, so they should take extra precautions when travelling. Finally, expats should be aware that the country has a limited infrastructure, so they should be prepared for a slower pace of life," remarked another expat in Kyrgyzstan.
"I recommend living in the city of Bishkek. Everything is in walking distance and there are nice parks," said a member in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
