When we asked expats in Thailand if common prescription medications are available in Thailand, they wrote...

"Meds available locally at drug store - over the counter pain meds... No - not expensive..," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand.

"Yes, common prescription medications are available in Thailand. Many pharmacies in Thailand carry a wide variety of medications, including those that require a prescription. However, it is important to note that some medications may not be available in Thailand, so it is best to check with a local pharmacist before travelling. Additionally, some medications may require a doctor's prescription in order to be purchased in Thailand," commented one expat who made the move to Thailand.
