How are local medical facilities in Uganda?
We asked members about local medical facilities in Uganda, they wrote...
"Medical facilities and medical care in Uganda are generally of a good standard. The country has a number of well-equipped hospitals and clinics, staffed by qualified medical professionals. The government has invested heavily in the health sector, and there are a number of initiatives in place to improve access to healthcare for all citizens. In addition, there are a number of international organizations and NGOs working in the country to provide medical assistance and support. Despite these efforts, access to quality healthcare remains a challenge in some parts of the country, particularly in rural areas," commented one expat who made the move to Uganda.
