Barcelona Botanical Garden
Barcelona Botanical Garden is a scientific institution dedicated to the study and preservation of Mediterranean plants. Located on Montjuïc hill, the garden features species from regions with similar climates, including parts of Australia, Chile, California, and South Africa. Opened in 1999, it replaced the older Botanical Garden of Barcelona and is designed to reflect the natural landscapes of the Mediterranean. The garden serves as both an educational resource and a peaceful retreat, with walking trails, thematic sections, and seasonal displays. It also hosts workshops, guided tours, and research programs, making it a valuable hub for botany enthusiasts and visitors seeking to learn about plant biodiversity.
