The surrounding area adds to its appeal, with pine-fringed shores, coves, and easy access to the wider Istrian coast, while the town itself remains walkable and tightly knit. It is the kind of place where the sea, the old stone center, and everyday local life are all interwoven, and that is what gives Rovinj its character.
