Digital Nomad Life in Yemen

By Joshua Wood, LPC

Summary: Yemen is not a popular destination for digital nomads. The most popular cities for digital nomads are generally in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Digital nomads may be attracted to Yemen due to its low cost of living and its unique culture. A digital nomad in Yemen can live on a budget of around $500-$1000 USD per month. This budget can cover basic living expenses such as food, transportation, and accommodation. Yemen has a rich culture that is heavily influenced by its Islamic faith. The country is known for its traditional music, art, and cuisine. Yemen is also home to a variety of ancient archaeological sites, including the ruins of the ancient city of Marib.
