Digital Nomad Life in Bermuda
Summary: Bermuda is not a popular destination for digital nomads. The most popular cities for digital nomads are generally in Europe, such as Berlin, Barcelona, and Lisbon. Digital nomads may be attracted to Bermuda for its warm climate, beautiful beaches, and relaxed lifestyle. A digital nomad in Bermuda can expect to live on a monthly budget of around $2,500 to $3,000 USD. This budget should cover accommodation, food, transportation, and other expenses. The culture of Bermuda is a mix of British and Caribbean influences. The island is known for its friendly locals, beautiful beaches, and vibrant nightlife. There are also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, such as sailing, snorkeling, and hiking.
How do I meet people in Bermuda?
When we asked people living in Bermuda about club and activities where newcomers can meet others, they responded:
"Expats in Bermuda often join clubs and activities such as sailing, golf, tennis, and other outdoor activities. Expats can also join social clubs, such as the Bermuda Expats Club, which organizes events and activities for expats to meet and socialize. Additionally, expats can meet people by attending local events, such as festivals, concerts, and art shows. Expats can also meet people by attending church services, joining a gym, or taking classes at a local college or university," said one person in Bermuda.
"Join a sports team (even as a social member). There are lots such as football, rugby, hockey. Go to Front Street where all the expats hang out in the bars," said one expat who made the move to Hamilton.
