When we asked people living in Antigua & Barbuda about club and activities where newcomers can meet others, they responded:

"Expats in Antigua & Barbuda often join clubs and activities such as sailing, golf, tennis, and beach volleyball. Expats can also join local book clubs, art classes, and language classes. Additionally, expats can meet people by attending local events such as festivals, concerts, and farmers markets. Expats can also meet people by attending church services, joining a gym, or volunteering with a local charity," said one person in Antigua & Barbuda.

"Being friendly, first and foremost, interaction with the locals, being creative and resourceful. Getting out - whenever you're invited out, accept it. The beach is good, live music events, lots are free events. Come outside yourself, create programs for the youth, don't be afraid to ask for sponsorship," said one expat who made the move to St Johns.
