Real Estate in Poland
Last updated on Mar 02, 2024
Summary: An expat looking to buy a home in Poland should begin by researching the local real estate market. They should look for properties that meet their budget and lifestyle needs. It is also important to consider the location of the property, as well as the amenities it offers. Foreigners are allowed to purchase properties in Poland, however, there are certain restrictions in place. For example, foreigners are not allowed to purchase agricultural land or properties located in certain areas. Houses in Poland typically include amenities such as central heating, running water, and electricity. Many homes also have modern appliances, such as washing machines and dishwashers. Some homes may also include a garden or outdoor space.
How do I find a place to live in Poland?
We asked expats how they chose their neighborhood and found a place to live. They answered:
"One of the best ways to find a place to live in Poland is to use online resources such as websites and classifieds. Websites such as Gumtree, OLX, and Otodom are popular in Poland and offer a wide range of rental properties. Additionally, you can search for rental properties on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, you can contact local real estate agents who can help you find a suitable place to live. Finally, you can also look for rental properties in newspapers and magazines," explained one person living in Poland.
