Ampang is a suburb located in the eastern part of Kuala Lumpur, offering a mix of local and expat communities, making it a popular choice for foreigners moving to Malaysia. 2. The cost of living in Ampang is relatively affordable compared to other parts of Kuala Lumpur, with a variety of housing options available, including condominiums, apartments, and landed properties. 3. Ampang is well-connected to the rest of Kuala Lumpur through public transportation, including the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and buses, making it easy to commute to work or explore the city. 4. The area is known for its international schools, catering to various curricula and age groups, making it an ideal location for expat families with children. 5. Ampang is home to a diverse range of restaurants and eateries, offering both local and international cuisine, as well as shopping malls and supermarkets for daily necessities. 6. Healthcare facilities in Ampang are easily accessible, with several hospitals and clinics in the area, including the Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur Hospital, which is popular among expats. 7. The climate in Ampang is tropical and humid, with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 33°C throughout the year, and frequent rainfall, especially during the monsoon season from October to March. 8.
