Summary: People living in Armenia, Colombia offer advice about real estate. How do you find a home in Armenia? Should you buy or rent? What is the cost of housing?
How do I find a place to live in Armenia?
We asked expats how they chose their neighborhood and found a place to live. They answered:
"To find a place to live in Armenia, you can start by researching online on websites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and OLX Colombia, which offer various accommodation options like apartments, houses, and shared rooms. You can also join local Facebook groups or expat forums where people often post about available rentals or roommates needed. Another option is to visit Armenia and explore the neighborhoods in person. This will give you a better understanding of the area and help you find a place that suits your needs. You can walk around the city, look for "Se Arrienda" (For Rent) signs, and talk to locals who might know of available properties. Additionally, you can contact local real estate agencies or property management companies that can help you find a suitable place to live. They can provide you with a list of available properties based on your preferences and budget. Lastly, consider asking friends, family, or colleagues who live in Armenia or have connections there for recommendations. They might know of available rentals or can put you in touch with someone who does," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Armenia.
