What is a typical expat home or apartment like in Kamogawa?

"A typical expat home or apartment in Kamogawa, is often a blend of traditional Japanese and modern Western styles. The living space is usually compact and efficiently designed, with a minimalist aesthetic. The living room might feature a low table and floor cushions, in keeping with Japanese tradition, while the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with modern appliances. The bedroom may have a Western-style bed or a traditional Japanese futon that can be folded and stored away during the day. Many homes also have a small balcony or terrace, which can be used for drying clothes or growing plants.
