Avoid discussing sensitive topics such as politics, religion, or racial issues unless you are well-informed and the conversation naturally leads there. Belizeans are generally laid-back and relaxed, so avoid rushing or pushing people to move faster. This can be seen as impolite and disrespectful. Lastly, always ask for permission before taking photos of people or their property.
