Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

What residency documents or visas did I need if I will be in Las Terrenas for a while?

Answer this Question

We asked expats what residency documents or visas they need when settling in Las Terrenas. They wrote...

"If you plan to stay in Las Terrenas for an extended period of time, you will need to obtain a valid tourist visa. Depending on your nationality, you may be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. However, it is recommended that you check with the Dominican Republic Embassy or Consulate in your home country to determine the specific requirements for obtaining a visa. Additionally, you may need to obtain a residency permit if you plan to stay in the Dominican Republic for more than 90 days," remarked another expat who made the move to Las Terrenas, the Dominican Republic.
