"Guanajuato is home to a number of excellent international and bilingual schools, offering quality education and extracurricular activities in a safe and secure learning environment. One of the most highly-regarded international schools in the city is Escuela Bilingüe Interamericana (EBI), located in the heart of Guanajuato. Founded in 1987, EBI focuses on educating students through an inquiry-based approach to learning, enjoying strong partnerships with other institutions in the city and a student body from different countries and cultures. The school emphasizes parental involvement and the development of the whole student: academic, creative, and physical. The elite Colegio Alemán de Guanajuato (CAUG) is one of the highest-quality educational institutions in the region and provides an excellent German bilingual education. CAUG also boasts a stunning campus, comprehensive academic programs and enrichment activities, international certification, and close ties with German universities and academic institutions. Finally, the Colegio Bilingüe Monte Sinai is an outstanding bilingual private school located in the Santa Rosa neighborhood of Guanajuato. Monte Sinai strives to create a safe and stimulating learning environment that challenges students and fosters the development of critical thinking skills. To reach these goals, the school emphasizes character education, anti-discrimination awareness, and values-driven teaching in its curriculum," wrote an expat with kids at in Guanajuato.
"I think it's a good school. You'll need to buy uniforms. Buy the boy's blue dress pants and blue jeans (for both girls and boys) in the states before you go. Bring white polo shirts and red T-shirts for the boys and girls to wear until you can get the uniforms since they're not always available. Bring red knee socks and black dress shoes for girls," commented one expat when asked about Colegio Valenciana in Guanajuato.
