What should I pack when moving to Rapallo?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Rapallo to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Rapallo, you should pack a variety of clothing suitable for a Mediterranean climate, including lightweight clothing for the summer and warmer, layered clothing for the cooler months. Don't forget a good pair of walking shoes, as exploring the city on foot is common. Pack your essential documents such as your passport, visa, driver's license, and any necessary medical records. It's also a good idea to bring copies of these documents. If you take prescription medication, bring an adequate supply along with a copy of the prescription. Bring a basic first aid kit with band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and any over-the-counter medication you may need. Pack a universal power adapter for your electronic devices, as the plugs in Italy may be different from your home country. If you're planning on driving, consider bringing a GPS or a reliable map. Pack personal hygiene items, although keep in mind that most of these can be purchased there if you're looking to save space. Don't forget to bring any necessary work materials if you're moving for work, such as a laptop, notebooks, and pens. Lastly, consider packing a few comfort items from home, such as photos or favorite snacks, to help you settle into your new home," said a member in Rapallo, Italy.
