They also appreciate the low cost of living and the abundance of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, and swimming. Additionally, the close proximity to San Jose and the international airport make it easy to travel to other parts of the country and abroad. On the downside, expats and digital nomads may find the lack of infrastructure and public transportation inconvenient. Additionally, the limited nightlife and entertainment options can be a drawback for some," said a member in Grecia, Costa Rica.
