To obtain a residency permit for Alexandria, Egypt, applicants must submit a completed application form along with the required documentation, such as a valid passport, notarized document of economic solvency, valid medical certificate, and authorization letter from an Egyptian sponsor. Additionally, an interview may also be required by the Immigration Department to discuss details related to the residency application. After a successful application and interview, a residency permit may be issued valid for one to three years, depending on the individual circumstances," explained one expat living in Alexandria, Egypt.
