What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Bermuda. They wrote...
"Expats in Bermuda often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. The island's small size and close-knit community can make it difficult to adjust to the slower pace of life and the lack of anonymity. Additionally, the cost of living in Bermuda is high, and the island's limited job market can make it difficult for expats to find employment. Furthermore, the island's strict immigration laws can make it difficult for expats to stay in Bermuda for an extended period of time," wrote a member who made the move to Bermuda.
