"Saint Lucia has a relatively low crime rate compared to other Caribbean countries. However, there have been reports of violent crime, including armed robberies, burglaries, and sexual assaults. The government has taken steps to reduce crime, such as increasing police presence and introducing tougher laws. Tourists are advised to take precautions when travelling in Saint Lucia, such as avoiding walking alone at night and keeping valuables out of sight," said another expat in Saint Lucia.
