"When moving to the UAE, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Bring lightweight, breathable clothing that will keep you cool in the hot weather. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are also essential for protecting yourself from the sun. Additionally, it is important to bring a few items that will help you feel at home, such as pictures of family and friends, books, and music. Finally, make sure to bring any necessary documents, such as a passport, visa, and any other paperwork required for your move," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to UAE.
"Bring: Another voltage converter, more garden tools and gardening supplies, and hair color Leave home: bicyles, blankets, winter clothes," commented one expat who made the move to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
