"The weather in Guatemala is generally warm and humid, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to the mid-80s Fahrenheit throughout the year. The rainy season typically runs from May to October, with the heaviest rainfall occurring in September and October. The dry season runs from November to April, with the coolest temperatures occurring in December and January. Guatemala is also prone to hurricanes and tropical storms during the summer months," said another in Guatemala.

"The land of eternal springtime. Two seasons: rainy and dry. Rainy starts in April and ends in October. The rains tend to come late afternoon/early evening. The rest of the year is all sunshine. Temps range from a low of 50F (10C) to a rare high of 80F (26C)," explained one expat who made the move to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
