The main hospital in the canton is the Kantonsspital (Canton Hospital), providing general medical and surgical services, emergency care and specialized services. The canton also offers a wide range of other healthcare services, including emergency medical services for the cantonal police, home care for elderly and disabled people, a program for people with cancer, social psychiatric services, a poison center, and a medical education center that focuses on the training of medical personnel. Zug also has numerous private practices and specialty clinics, providing specialized health services and treatments. Additionally, Zug is home to a range of wellness services, such as gyms and yoga studios, spas, and traditional medicine practitioners," remarked another expat who made the move to Switzerland.
