Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Ha Long, generally has a low crime rate, especially in comparison to other global cities. Most of the crimes reported are petty crimes such as pickpocketing or bag snatching, particularly in crowded tourist areas. Violent crimes are relatively rare, but tourists are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. The local authorities are making continuous efforts to maintain law and order and to ensure the safety of both residents and tourists. However, like any other city, it is always advisable to be cautious and aware of one's surroundings," remarked another expat who made the move to Ha Long, Vietnam.
