What should I pack when moving to Pattaya?
We asked people living in Pattaya to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...
"When moving to Pattaya, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing that is appropriate for the hot and humid climate. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Bring a mosquito net and insect repellent to protect yourself from mosquitoes. Pack a first aid kit with basic medical supplies. Bring a few items of comfort from home, such as books, music, and photos. Finally, make sure to bring your passport and other important documents," remarked another expat in Pattaya, Thailand.
"I could have brought more cotton bed sheets, more home food and an extra pair of sports shoes. I would have left at home my bicycle (roads are very dangerous)..," said a member in Pattaya, Thailand.
