It's also a good idea to pack a hat, sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreens to protect yourself from the sun. Bring along your necessary toiletries, but remember that most things can be bought locally. However, if you have specific brands you prefer, it might be a good idea to bring them along. Pack any prescription medications you need, along with a copy of your prescription. It's also a good idea to bring a basic first aid kit with band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and over-the-counter pain relievers. Don't forget to pack your important documents, such as your passport, visa documents, and driver's license. It's also a good idea to have copies of these documents in case they get lost.
