Are healthcare and health insurance expensive in Rwanda?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Rwanda if healthcare and health insurance are expensive in Rwanda, they wrote...

"Healthcare and health insurance in Rwanda are generally considered to be affordable. The government has implemented a number of initiatives to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all citizens, including the introduction of a national health insurance scheme. This scheme provides access to basic healthcare services for all citizens, regardless of their income level. Additionally, the government has also implemented a number of subsidies and tax incentives to make health insurance more affordable for low-income households. As a result, healthcare and health insurance in Rwanda are generally considered to be affordable and accessible," remarked another expat who made the move to Rwanda.
