"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Croatia. Non-EU citizens must obtain a permit from the Ministry of Justice in order to purchase property in Croatia. EU citizens are allowed to purchase property without a permit. However, they must register the property with the local land registry office. Additionally, foreigners are subject to the same taxes as Croatian citizens when purchasing property," said another in Croatia.
