BAND (Black Artists Networks in Dialogue) is a Toronto-based organization focused on promoting and celebrating Black arts and culture. Founded in 2009, BAND works to create opportunities for Black artists, curators, and cultural workers through exhibitions, workshops, and community programs. The organization also engages in advocacy to address systemic barriers faced by Black communities in the arts sector. BAND's initiatives include public art projects, educational events, and partnerships with other cultural institutions to foster inclusivity and representation. By providing a platform for Black voices, BAND contributes to the vibrant cultural landscape of Toronto and beyond.
